Free-Selectable Data Formats for Your Safety Data Sheets and Other Documents

Our policy: The data must fit into your system, not the other way. We work with the following data formats:

• Tabular formats: Phrases, but also substance data can be exchanged in simple text files which have well-defined delimiters (CSV format). You determine the data order. If you prefer Unicode, ANSI or OEM charsets: We prepare your data so that you can import it directly.

• XML formats: Modern systems often use XML for data exchange because it can map data hierarchies, it tolerates data format deviations to a certain degree and it can be transformed and evaluated using standard tools. We configure our data export to meet your XML document types or use the EDASx standard.

• Proprietary formats: Given an appropriate data exchange volume, we implement a data export that you or your customers can use without conversion (e.g. table dumps or SQL statements).
