Efficient and Easy: Managing Safety Data Sheets with SUMDAT Desktop

Our SUMDAT data service offers a convenient way to create customized Safety Data Sheets, labels and operating instructions. All documents are provided as a database with the SUMDAT Desktop - one of our licensed display software. The tool provides both on-screen and printed output of all files, required for a functioning hazmat management, and offers several options to customize the documents you need. We may optionally save them as a PDF or as a bitmap file, lists also as a CSV file.

Optimized Hazmat Management with SUMDAT Desktop

Our SUMDAT Desktop helps you to compare collected Safety Data Sheets and other data with the incoming documents, so you can consistently inform your employees worldwide, and thus establish a group-wide hazardous substance management. Without much effort, it is easy to calculate whether a delivery meets the criteria for 1000-point ADR transport. With an additional module, you have the option of customizing work instructions for specific workplaces and creating a hazardous substance register in accordance with the Hazardous Substances Ordinance (German: GefStoffV), which is an important component of the risk evaluation. As a company, you are also responsible to provide a periodically review and update of your hazardous substance information, when, for example, the composition of a mixture changes or new substances are used. Our SUMDAT Desktop will prove useful in this context, too.

SUMDAT Desktop Lite – Easy-to-Read Information on Hazardous Substances

In addition to your individual Safety Data Sheets, and if required, you can also obtain SUMDAT Desktop lite - a software version with limited options, which you can pass on to your customers by e-mail or on the Web. The main purpose of SUMDAT Desktop lite is the possibility of intuitive operation with no need to read a manual or any user input. This guarantees an improved customer service. Dangerous goods register, 1000-point transport calculation and some lists are not available, but the core services such as Safety Data Sheets, operating instructions, labels and substance lists. The technical description and options are otherwise the same as the full version of SUMDAT Desktop.

As for the administration and operation of SUMDAT Desktop we will be pleased to send you the appropriate document. As part of the annual SUMDAT meetings you also have the opportunity to participate in an introduction to SUMDAT Desktop. Here you will receive all relevant information regarding operation and functionality of our software. The goal is to establish efficient forms of information in your day-to-day work. In addition to the explanation of the offered document formats, this also includes forms of data evaluation by means of spreadss and pivot tables. All our training sessions can also be arranged individually in Langenfeld or as in-house training.
