We are a group of active minds in which everyone is heard and can influence the content and structure of our work. Our goal is to protect people and the environment when dealing with hazardous substances, and to do so as effectively and efficiently as possible. We provide our know-how to software companies in the form of content packages as well as to chemical companies by creating customized data as a service and integrating it into their IT infrastructure. That's why we bring together all our expertise in a team of around 40 permanent employees, mainly from the fields of natural sciences, linguistics and IT.

Our front-end technology stack consists mainly of:

  • Vue3 with Vite CLI, Pinia, Composition API
  • Payara application server
  • Visual Studio Code as IDE
  • SVN for version control
  • Redmine as a ticket system

Our work is based on open standards – we help shape the development of open data exchange formats and content standards by participating in the relevant committees. We don't copy solutions, we create our own – with a focus on system integration with our customers and the best possible efficiency of processes.

The software development team is located at the same site as the internal specialist users, which ensures productive discussions of requirements and immediate feedback. Team language is English.

Your tasks:

You will develop graphical user interfaces that adapt responsively to different devices and make the workflows of our software intuitively understandable. On the technical side, you will work directly with our experts in the fields of natural sciences and linguistics. You will also support the requirements analysis and support and can use the learning effects to contribute your own ideas for efficient processes to product development.

If you are able and interested, you can develop further into other roles in Scrum-based software development.

Your profile:

  • You have a degree or equivalent training in computer science and at least 5 years of professional project experience in the development of interfaces, preferably with Vue JS or JavaScript-based frameworks and in an agile team, as well as experience with UX and intuitive user guidance.
  • You are an open, communicative person with a responsible approach to work.
  • You feel comfortable in an agile team and enjoy constructive and communicative collaboration.
  • You are enthusiastic, curious and passionate about IT, technology and software development, combined with a keen interest in personal development.

You will develop components for our application server that are available via a graphical front end and a REST API. To do this, you will specify API extensions for connecting internal and external software systems. In discussions with users, you will find technically correct solutions and develop your own ideas for innovations.

If you are able and interested, you can develop further into other roles in Scrum-based software development.

Your profile:

  • You have a degree or equivalent training in computer science, at least 5 years of experience, especially in Java and Jakarta, and relevant project experience with REST APIs.
  • You are an open, communicative person with a responsible approach to work.
  • You feel comfortable in an agile team and enjoy constructive and communicative collaboration.
  • You are enthusiastic, curious and passionate about IT, technology and software development, combined with a keen interest in personal development.
